Try magnecor.com - a 7mm set will probably run you $100 cdn.

Default I'm still stock at 20k - do a search and youll see some feedback...

...I would go with 7mm (or possible 8mm) - anything beyond that is overkill for the stock ignition system.

Default I am.

Just installed their 8mm spark plug wire set last week. Part #60239, $160.47 plus $3.00 shipping. I like them, they're very good quality.

Magnecor

Default Ouch, $270CDN for the 7mm set, $360CDN for race set

Dealer is $300 + tax and nobody will ask me questions about them when I sell the car with OEM wires, so I'll probably stick with them.

I'll do some testing tonight to see which wires are out of spec. Maybe I'm just dreaming this problem up, but it seems like it's a wire issue.

Default Did you notice any difference in how the car runs?

How is the wire thickness compare to stock?

Default Yes I have.

I was getting a slight hesitation during hard acceleration at about 3k rpm, most noticeably in 1st gear. This just started about a month ago, thought it might be the spark plug wires. Since replacing the wires there is no hesitation. I believe the Magnecor 8mm wires are thicker than OEM, but since the OEM are ribbed it is a little hard to tell. They are sized in length for direct replacement and the spark plug boot allows the wire to make a 90 degree bend or continue straight out of the boot. I'm impressed with them, and I've owned some other high quality aftermarket wires such as Jacobs. The boots are black and the wires are royal blue.
