Got a speeding ticket for 50 in a 25 (bad location for a 25 zone, the speed limit was about to go to 45 around the corner)any way,on the ticket it says he got me with stationary radar but my V1 never went off! any suggestions? no one else in the car but me.
I saw the cop and then realized i was doing just under 50 and downshifted right away but it was too late.

is to tell them the truth to the exact detail and just try to convince them you knew what you were doing and made an honest error in judgement, not driving skill

enough "proof" that you were speeding. In fact, the V&T law in NY doesn't specify any particular speed value, only going faster than posted speed is illegal. The radar readings give the courts a value to determine punishment (fine level).
And, even if the cop does have a radar unit, he is not obligated in any way to show you what the reading was. Some do out of courtesy if they lock it in and you ask.

could be that you thought it had been the speed limit the whole time. its sneaky, but worked for a friend of mine going from a 35 to a 45.
