speedometer works for about 10 miles then stops working until i shut the car off.

Default speedometer works for about 10 miles then stops working until i shut the car off.

Any suggestions? It just started doing this.

Run the VAG com tests on the cluster for an extended period.

If the cluster passes it's probably the sensor on the transmission.

If you need another cluster, I happen to have one

Ichanged mine out to a B5 s4 cluster.

Only issue is that my old cluster has the dreaded dead pixels in the trip computer

Mileage was around 73900

on I have a 97 b5 mine doesn't have the screen in the middle of the cluster
