Default spillages of coolant

My Audi A41.8m (97), I look at the water pump, and found there have a lot of spillages of coolant. My coolants are green in color. Is it because of seal or O ring of the pump? Can someone advise me?

Default How close are you to your next timing belt change? The WP gasket if paper fails all the time

Get the metal gasket it will last almost forever.

You're using the wrong coolant. It should be pink/purple/orange depending on G12/G12+/G05

Default The also say the fuel filter and transmission fluid are lifetime. They also originally said the TB

interval was longer.

So, here we are...

You are looking at a new waterpump. It has green coolant prolly because it was refill from leaks.

Default The point of the "pink" coolant is for aluminum protection

If you're not using it, you risk buildup and blockage in the engine block channels. That's my understanding.

Default Really? Then why do all the coolant containers look like **** from the coolant

corroding the non-aluminum engine parts and depositing the rust elsewhere?

Seeing as I know have a metal water pump impelling, not plastic, Audi Junki recommend I switch to a highly silicated coolant, best known as G05.

Here's the housing half of my water pump, factory original:

<img src="http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/FastA4Turbo/audi/IMG_1187.jpg">

Now, G12+ is supposed to be better and easier on metal parts than the G12 counterpart. Problem I have with that is how much it costs. I love being able to go anywhere, get green coolant, and toss it in. Plus, since the cost is so much lower, flushing it out will actually be easy enough to do and fluid easy to obtain.
