Default Sport Suspension
I have just ordered an '01.5 A4 with the quattro sport suspension package (PQT).
Was wondering if anyone technical can explain to me what additional or different items this package entails.
Other than the 17" rims.

Stiffer springs and sway bars, plus the stiffer sidewalls associated with the 17" wheels.

Default What about the old sports pack?
Do the same things apply for the oldsports package? I know that the other rims are 16" not 17", but are there any other differences?

Default Your opinion please...
Ok...I gotta another question...what if I have the choice between the 16" sports pack and the Quattro (just quattro with no sports pack)...what do you think I should choose? Quattro seems way cool...but I really hate those stock 15" rims

Default I would get both...but if I had to choose.
I'd get the Quattro. You can't retrofit Quattro, but you can always get aftermarket suspension components and wheels.
