I have an option of 2 cars, 1 with standard seats and 1 with sports seats. Can someone please comment on their opinion between the 2? The one with the sports is still on the boat so I can't sit in it to see if I like them or not. All replies with be very welcome.
Thanks.<p>Sprog

If you have some "wide" friends you may want to think about it twice. My Audi dealer will not stock sport seats because of the wide butt problem. I have sport seats in one of my A4's and I really like them. My wife finds them a little too tight (no further comments please).
You really need to sit in one to make you final choice.<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/audiworldpics/2000/roym_sign.jpg">

I suggest you try them on for size first. Also, if you're looking at a 1.8t, the seats will come in cloth, not leatherette. I did not go for the sport seats, because i thought the interior looked alot nicer in leatherette. IF the sport seats DID come in leatherette, i would have jumped on them in a heartbeat...

I'd try them out. I didn't like them, but it's a very personal decision that should be based on how they feel, not how they look. You also need to think about how long each day you spend in the seats. If you're not driving long distances, you might not need the support.

I have them and think they are a world more supportive and secure than the comfort seats.
I am not sure what the issue with being tight is all about. I am 6'3" weigh in at 230 pounds and have recently found myself wearing 40" waist pants. I do not find the seats "tight". They are not a sofa, but keeping my backside in one place is the point.
