SPP a-pillar pod/boost gauge kit... anyone using?

if that was the case then the stock A-pillar would kill you too!!
the pillar doesnt come flying off around the cabin when the airbag goes off. The airbag actually deploys from that thin strip between the pillar and the door... and it deploys at the upper half of the window... no where near the spot where the gauge is mounted.
