which springs should i use ???

i have a 98 a4 qauttro 2.8 and im looking to put some 18's or 19's on it and drop it 2.25 inches in the fron and 2 ini the back...is that too much?...the springs i am looking at are NEUSPEED for $250 ..good springs? i really dont want to spend 6 or 700 on new shocks

I wouldn't recommend using any lowering spring without changing your shocks. It's more than likely your shocks are already way past their useful life. Adding lowering springs like the race springs you're looking at will make your ride nauseating, bouncy, and generally completely uncomfortable.
Save your money and get shocks at the same time.

Neuspeed springs are ok. You may want to consider H&R springs with Bilstein shocks. You really should never do the springs without the upgraded shocks. I actually tried that 7 years ago on my A4 when I was thinking I could get away with a cheap mod. Trust me, don't do it! Check out www.ecstuning.com for a cool setup.
