sprint springs

You shouldn't!
YOU CAN NOT LOWER YOUR CAR TWO INCHES WITH JUST SPRINGS. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY, S-E-A-R-C-H T-H-E F-V-C-K-I-N-G A-R-C-H-I-V-E-S!!!! If you want to lower your car two inches, you'll need shocks and springs. H&R Race, or Neuspeed Race springs should give you a significant drop. Couple them with Koni or Bilstein shocks and you're all set. Better still, buy a set of H&R coilovers (better performance). If you want more details, TAKE THE TIME TO SEARCH THE FVCKING ARCHIVES. There is a TON of information out there, if you would take a minute to remove that silver spoon from your mouth and look for it.

Try calling Stratmosphere about Abt springs.
They claim 35-40mm drop, and imply that you don't need to replace your shocks. You'll have to call Strat (Pete's great to deal with!) to find out if they have a FWD fitment.
All in all, I don't know what to make of this information -- I didn't even know that Abt made springs for the A4, but they have a good name in other areas (and in racing.) On the other hand, I agree with the other repsonses you've gotten in this thread: lowering the car without replacing the shocks seems like a dumb idea to me.

Stratmosphere Abt A4 suspension
