Driving home in the snow storm last night. On the mile long on ramp that is 2 lanes. I need to go from the right lane to the left lane to get onto the highway i need. Roads didnt appear to be plowed at all. So going straight in the lane was fine, but when i hit the fluff in between lanes it got me squirly. Tried to correct but had cars around me and didnt gas it like I should have. Kinda gave up and just let it spin. Went sideways and off the road. I was barly off the road but completely sideways and tagged a lightpole on my rear quarterpanel about a foot behind the wheel. 5mph bumper stuck to the pole and my bumper cover ripped off and was hanging by one side. Got out and picked up my peices, including taking my metal bumper off of being wraped around the pole and ripping off the bumper cover that was still hanging from one side. Did a quick inspection. Lots of body damage but didnt see any suspension damage so I figured I would try to drive it. Drove fine, so i drove the half hour home and parked it in my garage. Cant imagine what people thought as I drove by them on the way home.
Only thing I noticed was a rubbing noise from the rear pass. tire on bumps. But its smashed in alot and I think its more the body being closer than before, as opposed to something in the suspension being broke.
My car is pretty low, and this has happened a couple times before. Usually I cant get it back or I just spin and stop. Not as much room this time. F*CK!!
Thinking about an early/euro A4 trunk and an S4 bumper. Thats all I can really do other than stock, right? (If you see this Carson, you will be hearing from me later today or tomorrow prob)
Here are some crappy cell pics:

how low it is. If there is more than a few inches on the road my belly pans scrapes and it feels like a RWD car. My old POS subaru wagon with skinny bike tires would laugh at feet of snow and go straight as an arrow always.

That might be part of the issue. If you lift off when the car gets floaty, you are looking for trouble.
Too fast for conditions is probably the main issue though. :-/

worse. maybe i would have taken another car with me. Im fine, the car isnt TOO bad. Could have been much worse. But yeah if the other cars werent so close, I might have reacted differently.
