Default i need to replace the rear, i'll check on shipping. cause: bad LA freeway/1strain/oil/?

i was barely doing 60 going around a SLIGHT turn... good tires.. like i said earlier, i've driven much faster in much worse conditions... pushed the car to the max over the last 5 years and i think this was just a rare occasion of hitting oil/hydroplaning..?

Default -I've swapped out a front control arm myself before.. is this going to be much more difficult?

Or just more time consuming?

Also, is there another name for 'upright' and 'toe-link'? Did a search and didn't see much....

Also wondering what the chances are of needing to replace the sub frame- car has a LOT of miles.. would hate to drop a lot of money into it only to have something else major go on it. I know that's always a risk but.. just thought I would ask.

Thanks again!

Default Definitely more involved than a front control arm...

You are going to have to get a shop to put a new bearing into the rear knuckle, figure out which parts are bent, replace them, get alignment, and probably get told by the alignment place that you missed a component that you didn't think was bent. Check for cracks in the black paint of the components, its a give away that that part shifted/got tweaked.

Default Good luck man! I did that a while back, with dry roads and sunshine ;(

I replaced rear lower CA, toe-link, wheelbearing, and wheels unfortunately.

Default Drivers school always helps ,no matter what you think your skill level is

I had a situation within months of Bondurant school that I wouldn't have steered out of without the training. I've taken that course and 3 other defensive driving courses. I'm considering Mid-Ohio School next year if the economy cooperates. Its never too late to learn new stuff

BTW , 20+ years accident free and I often drive it like I stole it.
