squeaking from rear brakes after pad replacement (questions inside)

I replaced the rear pads on my 99.5 w/ new OEM pads a few days ago.
I now notice a squeaking sound coming from the rear, this sound is audible when driving/rolling at low speed. It probably is still there at higher speeds too but wind noise prevents me from hearing it.
To me it sounds like the pad is in constant contact with the rotor. Judging by the heat back there (similar to what the fronts feel like after some abuse) I think that this is what the problem is...
Is this just part of the bedding in process because I didn't change rotors?
Any thoughts? Possible remedies?
TIA Gentlemen!

Didn't use any brake quiet stuff at all... Didn't think it was necessary...
Do you all use it?

bedding usually consists of a series very hard stops from near highway speeds which heat up the new pads and deposit or "bed" some of the pad material on the rotors.
