Default Squeaking Under WOT

Hi all,

I've been trying to track down a problem that I'm having when going WOT.

While going WOT the car has hesitation when approaching max boost (about 18) the car starts kinda bucking and I hear this squeaking noise.. its not continuous but happens rapidly and seems to be related to how hard I depress the gas petal. The squeaking seems to be coming from driver front side.. but then again that's the side I sit on....

Although if I ease into boost I can usually get to max without any squeaking noise at all. I'm leaning towards the BPV (I have the 710N.. about 20k on it)

Also the boost seems a little irregular then it use too, seems to flutter a bit and I notice now the boost like comes in stages.. Will go to 5 PSI then jump to around 10.. then too 15.. then it takes more effort to reach ~18psi..

I recently replaced all VAC lines (except from N75 to wastegate) although I did inspect it and it looks fine.

Could this be more then one problem? Possible fuel problems since it's bucking when requesting most fuel? (I did have fuel filter replaced recently)

Can a bad BPV really make the car buck bad?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

I agree. 710N might have a bad diaphragm.

Ok.. cause all the post I read talked about a honk rather then a squeak.. just wanted to verify..

Also I know it's possible to test the BPV by depressing in the diaphragm and holding the nipple to see if it holds.. Since this only happens under extreme boost would this test still work?

True on the honking, but I figured that was just your way of saying it.
