Srange noise and ABS issue

From around 2.2k - 2.6k rpm, usually 1st gear while accelerating and sometimes in 2nd, there is a strange vibration sound that's somewhat loud coming from behind the glovebox area. If is stay driving in this rpm range in 1st gear, the noise continues
I've looked under the hood in that area, and in/behind the glovebox but can't find anything. I recently had the control arms replaced on that side and it seems louder after the replacement (they were clunking, that's gone).
I've also noticed that since the vibration noise got louder, I can sometimes feel the ABS kick in right before the car comes to a stop and the pedal pulsates (ABS light is NOT on) any chance this is related??
Can anyone suggest any heatshelds, bolts, etc.. to check for the vibration sound? It really doesn't sound like a suspension thing, but it has gotten louder so I can't ignore it like I used to.
Also interesting to add, my previously non-working cruise control began working perfectly around the same time the abs thing started...

I'm having the same abs problem, minus the vibration. So far I've replaced a wheel sensor, cleaned them all, and changed out the abs pump & module. Next up would be the abs control box?
Maybe your vibration is a broken or cracked abs sensor ring? Maybe that's what I've got and I don't realize it.

I just found a cracked ring on my right rear wheel. Don't ask my how I missed it last weekend when I had both sides torn apart replacing rear wheel bearings.
Yes, you can definitely visually inspect the sensor ring. As described in another post you loosen the center bolt (underneath the center cap) and push the shaft back towards the center of the car. You can then look behind the hub and see the ring. If it's cracked like mine, it's pretty obvious as the two halves are loose and the crack is big. I'm not sure if this works on the front or not, I would assume it does.
The other thing you can do is remove the sensor and look down through the hole while you rotate the axle. It may be harder to find the crack though.

... and I'm glad you were able to find a solution to yours!
I'm thinking that when the new control arms were put in it may have aggravated whatever was already going wrong with this... or maybe a sensor got mashed here during the process
