Default stage 3 spec clutch, stage 2 power.....

well it seems as tho my big turbo hopes are being put on hold for a little bit, however, for the springtime i'm looking to upgrade my clutch. i planned on getting spec's stage 3 clutch, but will i have any drivability issues if i'm only running stage 2 power? or if i got a stage 2 clutch, would that last long enough w/ stage 3?

Default daily driving should not be an issue.

I have a WoA 2+ and it feels just like stock only with a lower engagement point. I'm not sure how the materials differ between Spec and WoA but they're probably close. Your power output won't really make a difference in how the clutch drives/feels, so it doesn't matter if you have a big turbo or not.

I have 15K miles on my clutch now and it holds fine. I haven't done any hard launches in a long time but when I do the result is nice.

Default yes...your power output shouldn't affect the clutch's characteristics

Clutch feel comes from puck count, material used, etc.

The stage 2 spec clutch will hold really nice. A little grabby, but almost stock.

Default did i mention the difference between the two is only $20?

if it were more like $75 or something, that would be an easier decision. but $20 more for a clutch that can handle much more power. better deal, no?

Default Better deal when you say "daily driver" and do not know when you'll have SIII power

No,I don't think so.
The Spec 3 unit is a very aggressive set-up that will have you relearning how to drive your car.
If you don't plan on having the SIII for awhile or don't plan on living at the strip,I'd go with the Spec 2. You'll be happier on a day to day basis.
