Default Staggered rims on a Quattro

What kind of problems can happen if I go with a staggered setup on my quattro? I'm trying to fit 18x8.5/32 mm in the front and 18x9.5/35 mm in the rear. Both have a 5x112 bolt pattern. I was told using a 10mm spacer in the rear would help with any rubbing I might have. Tires I have no idea.. 225/40? Does this sound alright?

Default As long as the diameter of the wheel/tire

Is the same, youll be OK. Different offset shouldnt hurt anything.

2nd, the width though might be a issue with rubbing in the rear.

Default you are going to have to strech the tires because 9.5 will not fit on the rear

without them streched. If you look at cars with 9.5 on the rear the wheels stick out a bit from the fenders. If you strech the tires it doesn't look bad. If you don't then itt is gonna look horrible.

Default Check this car. Might help with the offset and spacers you would need

Default ding! but it is not bad for the drivetrain like many believe on here. its rolling diameter not

width that affects the drivetrain.
