Default stain problem on the paint...

just got a fresh paint job on my hood a few weeks again.. and now a spot of bird crap has left a "stain" on the paint... what should i do to remove the spot? is there anything i can do?

i have tried to use the claybar... but it doesnt seem to want to come out.. im afraid its in the clear coat. i was out of town for a few days... so the crap could have been there for at least two days... seems like a hard mark.

any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

I would call the body shop that did the paint job ASAP and ask them

Default i plan too... but they are closed for the rest of the weekend.

i figure that the fresh paint and clear coat would resist this... but im guessing that it can be pulled out somehow.

its just that its a black car and it shows... light as it may be... it shows.

Default where did you get it done?

Gene Perez? If so, they're really friendly about that sorta thing. Lifetime warranty I think.

Default yeah... they are... but i hate to call Gene at home

im sure they willl fix it for me, but i would like to see if i can do it myself. i know all he has to do is wet sand it and spray a patch onto it... but that also means that i will be out of a car for the day (maybe two)

Since it is a new paint job, I would not mess with it. Leave it to a professional.
