5 years and 47K and not a single problem. Tonight while making several stops I found it difficult to start my 2.8. Temp was around 55 degrees the engine was warm. Jumped in ready to head home and the car just cranked and cranked. I was shocked it didn't fire at all. Tried this a couple more times and just cranking no start. I let it sit a few minutes and then it fired after a few seconds of cranking. Any ideas of what is going on?? Will the problem show up again. I had to make two more stops and each start up totally normal. Any ideas??
TIA

Basically, the ECU can't tell how warm the engine is, and meters too much fuel. Over time the engine cools, and the richer mixture actually works to start the car. That's one possiblity.
