Considering what spring rate: 600/700 or 600/750?

Go big on the spring rates my 550/650 seems a bit soft for me.

700/800 might be too much for the street

Default Question regarding my Tracksports...

The rings on my rears are way too small for my spanner wrench. Is there anyway I can have them replaced with taller grooves? I'm somewhat local...live in the South Bay.

The only problem is I don't have a spare suspension lying around at the moment. Any suggestions? I don't know why the grooves Stasis put on are so small to begin with...

Default Not certain why the wrench doesn't work, they are fit to the perch...

however the best solution is to just life the car up. In the rear of a B5 unweighted the rear perch can be set by hand, no wrench needed. Just make sure the threads are clean of dirt and you should have received a little spray can of thread lubricant, spray some of that on as well. Then spin by hand.

Cheers,

Default of course the car is lifted...I wouldn't be able to adjust it otherwise

I still can't get the perch to move. They're locked together which is why I need the wrench...to break the top one from the bottom one. I really think the only way to fix this is to get new rings.

I'll try to get a picture uploaded to show you what I'm talking about.

Default I have 600/750 and it's a little on the stiff side for the street, but worth it on the track.

I think I'll go to 700/900 or 800/1000 once it's a dedicated track car unless they have too many miles on them - then something else -- maybe STaSIS Motorsports or Penske.
