I need to purchase a c/o kit this week. I could afford $1,200+ lines such as H&R - vogtland kit, however price is a factor and testing the Vmaxx $599 kit for my first winter with c/o's is also an option.
The Stasis Street Sports are priced fairly low around $1,090..
decisions decisions.. honestly the Vmaxx price sounds right for this season, however they could be a tad too soft for a BT setup and some tossing from side to side.

Erik is running Shine springs on Shine valved Bilstiens, which are not overly stiff at all, yet are more than up to the task of his beast. I bet your car would be fine with oem springs and konis. =)

if he's posted about his impressions of them. I went with the Koni/Vogt shock/spring combo and rocked it through the NH witer and it was fine and the ride is much nicer than my old OEM sport set up.

Without getting into all the nitty gritty, I like mine a lot.
If you do a quick search for SS's or Vogtlands, you'll come across about a dozen threads of everyone saying the same thing too. Not meaning to sound like STFA, just sayin - we just had this convo like last week... the answers aren't far off...

They are only slightly firmer than stock sport. I have no plans to track the car. Just wanted the ability to set the height exactly where I wanted it (which I haven't done yet).
btw, SPP has them for $985 shipped, but it took a while to get them.

I could save almost half going with the Vmaxx. The Stasis are pretty much tweaked Koni shocks with Stasis engineered springs.
hmm.

the ride sucks donkey *****. Springs are way too stiff for street driving.
The Stasis Motorsports (Ohlins) are the bees kneez.
but you don't need suspension worth more than half the car's value.
I wouldn't blow all of the $$ you got from the V8 on suspension alone, since that's not all you need to fix on the A4.

The track sport are a much stiffer breed. The Street use Koni shocks which are fairly close to OEM.
I am having Mr. Axis Motorsport work up a price on the Stasis for me and I will work from there between the two.

If not, you can run just about any coilover setup IMO.
I have koni coilovers, they are probably on-par with stock sport setup. Great on the road, Ok on track.
Have you looked for a used set-up? Might be the way to go initially?
