I have a 1/3 cubic foot box in my trunk

That's the one I was thinking about!
I think it's called the ED700 or something like that.
Some people put them in the rear deck in place of the rear speakers. In retrospect, that's probably what I should have done. But I am pleased with my fullrange speakers. (Focal Polyglass 165). The Focals have enough bass to keep me happy when the sub is out of the car to make room for luggage.
But fortunately, the 10" sub is small enough that I can still fit two golf bags in the trunk.
