Steering column swap - from 97 to 98 and general removal questions
I kinda doubt this, but has anyone swapped a steering column from a 98 into a 97? Or does anyone know if it is not possible, if not, why?
The reason I'm asking is that I have a 98 parts car, and a 98 sport steering wheel/airbag that doesn't seem to be selling so I'd like to try and swap it into my 97. As you know, the 98 wheel will not with 96/97 steering column.
Any has anyone removed a steering column in general? How much work is it?
I'd rather just drop a 96/97 sport steering wheel in but they are impossible to find and even if I could find one I'd rather not have to spend money on it .
