Steering viberates after tire rotation, help
Just did a front-rear rotation. Now i feel a noticible steering viberates between 70-80mph. very annoying!
Can this be solved by balance the tire? how come i feel the viberation only after the tire rotation? thanx for any input.

When they were balanced and mounted originally they probably put any wheel/tire combo
with less than perfect balance on the back so it wouldn't have as much of a vibration effect. Now it's on the front so you're feeling it through the steering wheel.
I had the same thing happen after I rotated, so I bought a replacement wheel ($140) because I didn't want to fark around with it. When the Pilots were mounted originally, the installer told me the LR wheel had "a bit of a hop in it". So I wasn't that surprised to feel the vibration after the rotation.
When I received my replacement wheel I had it mounted and balanced on a Hunter machine so it would be perfect. I'll never have a wheel balanced on anything else.
No vibration now.
