My gvr4 is like that, but it's a '92 so I guess it's reasonable.

I agree - my car has only 22,000km on it! Most of the time it is parked covered from the sun. I think most of the damage was done during the winter time when it was really dry weather. I personally think its a defect since many of my friends have older A4s with perfect leather. I'm trying to get them to replace the wheel under warranty, but its hard to convince them...

Default Re: ive had mine 2 1/2 years now, and it looks pretty damn good....

yeah, something is definately wrong. I used Simoniz leather conditioner/cleaner on it, but only after I noticed the deterioration. I think on model years before 2000, they used leather with a rougher grain to it, and it seemed to resist cracking better. My year has very fine grained leather; don't know if its more prone to cracking, or if it's just my car.
