Yes it does, instead of a coil pack I'd do plugs/wires first. Coils are expensive and plugs wires ought to be changed anyhow. What I mean is that try plugs/wires first to make the misfire go away, if it doesn't, then do the coil pack. Because if it ends up being a bad coil pack, you should run new plugs and wires on your new coil pack.

I'd bet plugs/wires fixes you up.

New wire set

New Plugs - Cheapest option, but I prefer them

New Coil Pack

Does the heat improve if you rev up the engine?
it seems to stay the same regardless of RPMs....if I turn the climate system off, though and leave it off for a bit, when I first turn in back on, out comes hints of warm air:-)

Just wanted to update and thank folks for the input provided in this thread. I've been extremely busy with Uni. past week but managed to change the Coolant Temperature sensor as well as the spark plugs yesterday. I do have heat now but a coolant flush coming weekend will probably tell the full story.

Ah yeah, there is only heat when the car is in motion; not otherwise! So, any input in that regard would be greatly appreciated.

No problem. After a flush that heat will probably more potent and hot.
