Stock Performance Numbers?
It is not that difficult to find acceleration times for a B5 A4 1.8T, but I can't seem to find the lateral g, or slalom speed anywhere. Can someone tell me what they are for a stock B5 A4 1.8T Quattro? w/ Sport Package?

Typically mag reviews test and publish those figures...
So you'd have to dig through R&T and C&D mags to find them. I think back in 98 C&D did a head to head between a 2.8QMS vs. some BMW. I don't think I remember seeing a full test on a 1.8TQMS.

That's not the one I had in mind...
The one I was thinking of was a Audi vs a BMW only. Like I said...published in 98 (maybe late '97). It was just about when the 30V engine was being released.
But what's odd about the comparo you linked is it is missing all the specs on each car (in a spreadsheet type format). They do this on all their comparo articles, so maybe they just don't publish them online?
