Default Stolen key...

Had a house break-in while on vacation and my house and car key are gone. After changing the locks of all doors I find myself fearing that one morning the A4 will be gone or even worse involved in an accident.
Any idea of cost for replacing the locks, ignition and doors? Thanks.

Default I'm not sure what something like that would cost, but I wonder if they can be rekeyed instead.

Might cost less if possible. I have the same fear if my keys are ever stolen for my car. Sorry to hear about that man.

Default might be more cost effective to install a fuel pump cutoff switch hidden somewhere in the car...

Even without the key, an A4 is easy pickins for a car thief.

How easy is it to pick our locks? I doubt that's what they actually do, but I am kind of curious.

Default I'm not sure...the couple I've seen had a hole next to the door handle made by a chisel or large...

screwdriver. Then the tumbler in the ignition switch looked like they were broken by brute force with some strong screwdriver-like tool.

Cheers,

Sorry to hear that. Don't forget to swap the trunk lock too.
