Default strange rumbling/rattling noise (again)

I posted a while back about a strange noise that comes from under the car which didn't seem to coincide with the throttle or braking, but only happened in the rain.

I got my car back from the dealer yesterday after having the instrument cluster and the fuel sensor replaced. Ever since then, it's been making the noise all the time, not just in the rain. If I accelerate quickly, the noise is not there but as soon as I let off the throttle, the noise will appear. If I do this and push the clutch in, the noise goes away.

To best describe it, it's a low rumbling/rattling noise that comes from under the passenger side of the car. As the car gets slower, the noise increases. Nothing stands out visually under the car, and it doesn't make the noise on idle. The car has a Neuspeed cat-back.

Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Default Re: strange rumbling/rattling noise (again)

I had a similar noise...
rattling only occurred under load... and usually only under heavy acceleration... turned out to be a small rock that had worked it's way un on top of one of the heat shields.
good luck
