Default STUCK doing suspension install. I have a question for you snow birds on the forums

The upper control arm is seized to the point where it looks like it has formed with the metal housing it. I tried to hit it with a breaker bar, soaked it in penetrating lubricant (overnight) to no avail. I basically cant free the upper control arms from the hub assembly. Have any of you guys run into this issue before?
I am basically ready to try disconnecting the lower control arm and removing the caps in at the top to access the two bolts holding the suspension into the upper control arm mount. Anyone have any magic up there sleeve? This is my first "seasoned east coast car" TIA

Exactly. Isn't there a pressing tool for these arms?

I always yank the assembly ... leave the pinch bolt & arms in place. Faster and easier IMO

Default so just do pop the caps up top and loosen the two bolts from the upper control arm mount bracket?

then just drop lower control arm?

Default Sorta ... should be able to just disconnect the lower shock mount, flex the lower arm/hub assembly

down and slide (use the term losely as it takes a bit of manuevering) the assembly out of the wheel well.
