Stuck oil pan

Default It takes both

If you dont want to completely remove the subframe, you have to lift the engine and loosen the subframe. Even with the engine lifted as far as it can go, I have to wedge the subframe down to get the oil pan and oil pump out. Doing it this way keeps the alignment from changing. It was difficult the first time, but not impossible. Having a Tip transmission makes it harder because the ATF lines to the radiator ( heat exchanger ) get in the way.

thanks for the info...so you would drop the subframe if you didnt mind getting an alignment done.
