Stupidity doesn't pay

I managed to slide my car into a curb the other night, and since then I hear a murmur from the front end when the car is moving; regardless of whether in gear or in neutral. The pitch and rate of the murmur vary only with the rolling speed of the car. The impact was to the front right wheel only, and from the scratches on the rim I am guessing that the impact turned the wheel enough for the car to briefly climb the curb (which it did).
The car is at a repair shop now, and the mechanic has the initial hunch that the problem is in the control arm(s) on the front right side.
The car was going about 25mph when it hit the curb. I would like to hear about what other components could be affected by this. I'd also like recommendations for a good shop in the Austin TX area for repairs of this nature.
thanks very much,
-K.

Other things that could have been damaged would be wheel bearing. And you'll probably need an alignment as well.
