Default Looks like everything is in great shape...

Is the "pitting" on the cam lobe something to be worried about?

Default its a sign of wear...the cams are case hardened...

which means the exterior is very hard to resist wear but the inside is softer to reduce brittleness.

once the case wears through its all over. then they wear quickly, and performance will decline as the valves wont open fully.

a educated guess is that they will last until 180k miles, then i should replace them. but that is my guess, im waiting for some other opinions.

Default I see. I haven't heard of this before, but it makes sense.

Was that a lot of wear on your cam lobes, or is that about normal for that amount of miles?

Default keep the oil in the head....instead of being vented.

also hopefully keeps oil on the cams.
