Supercharger on 2.8, or soup up the 1.8T?

If you must have a 4 door, then sit down and add up the *total* cost of doing up an A4 1.8T, and compare that to, say, an STI or EVO, and decide what you want to do. You might be better off going with one of those if you do not mind the step down in luxury.
If i could only have one car it would be an STI worked over, but since i can have two cars, i have the Miata, and a TSX for a daily.
Used to have a T28/FMIC/etc/etc A4...it was a great car, but heavy 4 door sedans are compromise vehicles, and i wanted the purity of a old fashioned RWD sports car.
Cheers,
Sameer

Hey,
I have a 98.5 Black 2.8 TQS too! Mine's only got 51k though. Anyways, I'm currently in Afhganistan, but I'm looking in to what I want to get when I get back. I'm looking at blowing mine and driving it until she dies or picking up a new TT. I'm leaning towards the TT for now, but I've heard lots of good things about the supercharger though.
Check out superchargedaudi.com for some info on supercharging the 30v. There's some good info there and the guys are pretty helpful. Either way, good luck and let me know how the 2.8 comes out!
