Default Symtoms of coilpack failure?

1) rough idle?
2) blinking CEL?
3) fuel smell?
4) no power?

if all these are the symtoms of coilpack failure, i guess i have one~
wonder is there a coilpack recall for what years of A4??

Default vag it, you'll get random misfire cylinder 1, 2, 3, etc.............

........and when your driving the car, especially at wot, you will feel one of the cylinders stop firing and then start again. that will classify as loss of power, and you will have a flashing cel. i dont know about rough idle or fuel smell, cause mine only did it right when i got it chipped, and only at wot. if i babied her around, she was fine.

It could be a sparkplug, too.
