T or F: Cross drilled/slotted rotors are like cheese graters for brake pads?

Cross drilled rotors do not have this raised lip over each hole, and have a smooth surface which makes them less likely to have the same effect.

Even "flat holes" will create an extra edge making contact with the pad. That will increase wear on the pad, which is why the term cheesegrater is used.
