Default Technomagnesio Detroit fitment... weird

fitment is listed as 18x8.5 <b>et45</b> So the inside lip of the wheel is a full 1/2" closer to the center of the car than the stock 7.5et43;s... weird. Found them for 1k a set tho, weird.

I'm running 18 x 8.5 ET35 - 225-40-18. PERFECT fit. I mean, edge of tire is the fender edge, EXACTLY.

I don't know if that info helps at all.

my m3 reps are the same, 18x8.5 et35, these would sit about half an inch in.
