Test Pipe W/ K04 question
Running the AWE K04 kit with a 3" ATP test pipe and stock exhaust on my 2000 A4.
I get tons of surging between 2,000-3,500 RPM (turbo boosts up and down a few times). Does it make sense that the test pipe would be causing this because of the huge diameter test pipe in there, and then an abrupt bottle neck tapering to the stock downpipe/exhaust?
Anyone have this same setup with the same problem?
My GIAC chip is running 22 pounds of boost. The car did not surge at all with this exact K04/testpipe setup and APR K03 chip running 15 psi.

22PSI? what program are you running, J31?
are you still running stock exhaust? that could be a problem as AWE does say a "free-flowing exhaust is *required*"
i'm running PC-16 w/ test pipe, APR exhaust on my K04 and i have nothing like that, though I don't boost above ~18psi, usually around 15
