Default Thanks for all your advice!

Last week, I posted regarding a WP bolt whose head I sheared off. Saturday, I was able to remove the bolt.

I used a $40 set of screw/stud extractors and a $2 titanium drill bit w/a split point (marketing says "drills on contact"). Both came from Sears.
I started with the cutting end of the bolt extractor- supposed to set drill to Reverse and keep low RPMs while drilling. The point is to create a hole in which to insert the extractor and back the sud out. After 20 minutes of drilling, I had created a dimple in the end of the stud. I got sick of using that and put the titanium bit in. In 30 seconds it had drilled deeply enough into the stud to insert the extractor and the bolt came right out.

Hopefully, this info will help others who break off 8.8 bolts.

Thanks Everyone!

Default RI didn't know Sears had titanium covered reverse drill bits!

Damn I bought a small kit online for about 50$ and they snapped while trying to remove a exhaust manifold stud.
