I am thinking about purchasing a 98 A4 Avant for my wife as she loves the S4 but is a little apprehensive driving it as she already curbed the new 18" Moda R6 wheels. Oh well, it was going to happen sooner or later. I am just wondering if there are any potential problems with the A4 with a 2.8 liter V6. Your feedback is much appreciated. Thanks.

I love mine and have had no real problems other than having the tip switch replaced.

I highly suggest an aftermarket warranty with an audi. mine's already paid for itself, and I have 6 years/43,000 miles left on it.
