Default Is there any way to repair a crack in the leatherette?

My car is starting to show its age. Today I noticed a small crack (about 1.5" long) in the thigh bolster of my driver's seat, on the side nearest the door. Anyone know what I can do to stop it from spreading and possibly repair it? I want to sell the car this summer, and I want it looking as pretty as possible. I tried searching the archives, but to no avail. Thanks.

Default Had mine repaired by Dr. Vinyl, but....

Had two cracks about 6" long each. He took liquid vinyl and spread it in the crack then used a textured piece to lay over it to match the texture. When is was cool and dry he said it was stronger than new. Looked OK and for only 70 bucks it was well worth it.

That was about 6-8 months ago and the area around it is starting to do the same thing. I'am just going to order new skins, both upper and lower, from my dealer and have an auto upholstery shop install them.

I looked around, but I can't find one. I thought there was one in there too.
