thats automatic.... even with the original programing from Audi.

no.. altho I don't see why it can't be removed.. but no one has.

Default there's a sensor you can disconnect to disable kickdown (not downshifting)

but as has been discussed ad nauseum, you probably don't want to do this. it could seriously hurt your tranny.
