is there a specail tool for the inner tie rod? to get it off and put a new one back on?

nope no special tool just lots of pb blaster

Default I think a 36 or 38 mm crows foot might be needed..

just search for inner tie rod

I needed to use a 4' iron bar to separate the TRE from the upright
