Is there a tech article on DIY fender rolling? Can't find it.

the fender doesn't flare out like with the roller...
and trust me...it's smooth. you can only roll a small section at a time. this is by far the best way to roll IMO. Jimmy@Rojo uses this method at his shop.

i took a mini wooden bat to my fenders. Did the job perfectly
Also, it only took about 15 min for each side and i also did it on a nice hot day. The paint didn't crack at all. There is no need to score your paint at all, if done slowly it won't crack.
