Is There a Write Up for a B5 S4 Navi Install in B5 A4 1.8tq, or Can Anyone Comment?

I must have read through the Pioneer AVIC-D3 Install by Pabblo a hundred times, and though that would be hot and I'm really debating that, I've found an S4 Nav for sale for $250 and would much rather have an OEM fitment install despite all the killer features and functionality I'd get out of the Pioneer. Now I've done some car stereo installation in the past, but would appreciate any advice if anyone's got any experience with this install!

Which B5 Nav system are you referring to RNS-D or the one that you need

to mount the CD changer in the trunk for the Nav CD's and only displays on your center display?

If RNS-D search for TeddyBGame and shoot him an email, he knows a lot about Audi radios and builds wiring harnesses on the side.

The pioneer is siiick, and probably easier to install than dealing with CAN-BUS.

Not sure, but that is an AMAZING write up, and yeah-dealing with the CAN-BUS defo looks like a PITA.

but **** does the RNS-D look grreeeeat...(drool)

Ok if this is the NAV for sale in the classifieds, you do not want it. No

screen display and it is the first NAV offered in B5 and basically a piece of crap. Save your cash and either find RNS-D, RNS-E or go with the Pioneer
