I suggest some SimpleGreen and a rag and/or brush..followed by a "light" mist of water avoiding coil packs and hand dry w/ towel.
The key is to stay away, especially w/ high pressure, from electrically sensitive parts...blasting your exhaust etc w/ high pressure is not an issue..just dont go in there w/ monster force.

The pressure from the water cut a gauge halfway into my thick rubber mats. Now imagine what it'll do to a flimsy vacuum line or 18awg sensor wire cover.
And no, I did not pressure wash my car / engine etc... just the floor mats.
