Thinkin about 17x8.5 Brock B1's (ET35). Wise move to get 235 tires w/ them?

Think I'd have rubbing issues on H+R race? Kind of noob questions but I don't know much about wide wheels - TIA

My old A4 was really low and I ran 235/40-17 tires on 17 X 8.5 wheels. Not even close to rubbing.

Back a week before classes....
