Thinking about doing the Stage II Airbox Mod today - Any Complaints, gripes, reccs, w/ this mod?

Two suggestions...
I skipped the part wher they open up the wheel well liner. Instead I opened up the lower passenger side grille. This does a sort of forced induction of fresh air to the bottom of the air box, allows a lot of space for rain/slop to be separated and keeps the wheel well closed up. I bought a spare grille to pop in there during the winter months to keep slush/sand/nastiness out when having extra cool air doesnt matter as much (dead of winter) as keeping things cleaner.
You might also consider not cutting off the velocity stack. Some have reported problems with engine performance until this was replaced. IT may have to to with how rounded you make the tubes entry and turbulence from not having the taper.
