Those auto-locking gremlins are back ...

A while back I posted about glitches with the auto-locking @ 15 mph doors. The consensus was that I was inadvertantly experiencing the feature whereby if you only unlock the driver's door with the remote, that will be the only door which auto-unlocks upon removing the key from the ignition. I have been watching closely ever since, and twice this past week the gremlin definitely reappeared. I am certain because each time I had loaded a bag into the rear seat, so all the doors had to be unlocked with the remote. Yet, only the driver's door auto-unlocked when I removed the key from the ignition. So, might this be rectified by having the dealer recode the feature, or should I just live with it?

If you're sure the feature is malfunctioning as you describe, I would ask the dealer about it. Mine works flawlessly. The worst thing would be for doors to unlock that you were not expecting to unlock, but that doesn't seem to be your problem. Still, why not get it fixed?
