Do you guys put your car back to stock height for winter and then drop it again come the summer months, or do you leave your coilovers at the same setting all the time.

I've driven on snow with my coilovers. Didn't hurt it, then again I'm not slammed.
For me the coilover's were more of a "set it and forget it" thing..

...one of the worst here in NH. The N.B.'s made it through without a scratch...although back roads were avoided like the plague from mid January to the end of April. The frost heaves are bad here on older secondary roads(some are seriously 6" deep in places and have to be filled with gravel by the dpw to get by until they subside).
I just checked the undercarriage of the A4 a few weeks ago and found no damage whatsoever. The only damage that occured during the winter was the front bumper came dislodged after traversing a snow pile/bank. But that easily snapped back into place.
So to answer your question, if you have stock lowers & valences and aren't too low (look at the newer pictures of my A4) don't bother. If you have body kits, you might consider removing those & installing stock ones for winter. I would do that before messing with the coilovers, unless you are slammed.

this winter. The only thing that took a beating was my belly pan, which I removed this week and put the old one back on.
I think I destroyed it the day that Raj and I drove from the winter driving school in NH when we got nailed with 21" of snow. Raj stayed with family in CT while I continued to Philly, PA. I think the constant driving in 3-4" of snow on 287, 78, etc. just wore it down until the center section behind the 2 big vents just disappeared. So, it no longer was able to be attached at that screw in the back/middle of the belly pan. I didn't even think about putting the old, original one back on for winter and keep the brand new one that I got last Oct from the raccoon incident for "summer" use. oh well, live and learn. I'll put that trashed one back on for next winter.
WINTER, what the heck are we talking about winter for?!?
