for those that have had the brake wear pad sensor come on even after splicing properly

this was my problem

I had had this spliced for over a year with no brake pad sensor light. It came on and I couldn't figure out what it was. I went in again today and felt the insulation on the wires that are from the female part of the sensor (i.e. the one attached to the car, not to the pad). Lo and behold the insulation broke and I found the culprit
i can finally see tracks on my cd player again
